Hello there!

With more than 30 years of experience as a Seamstress I have decided to take my expertise to the next level and open my own business.

I gained my knowledge and expertise back in the Netherlands where I discovered my true passion for sewing. I studied for four years at school and graduated with a College Degree Custome/Tailor/Couture.

After that I taught sewing lessons for over 15 years before immigrating to Canada to pursue a series of other careers and projects.

After settling in to the beautiful little town of St Marys, Ontario I began to work in a bridal store for over 2 years. Lives change, however, I was able to work in retail in my hometown of St. Marys for over 10 years. During that period of time I had to put my dream to open a  business on hold.

After the kids moved on and life became less stressful I decided to go and work in an alteration store in London , Ontario.

In 2015 I decided to make my dream a reality and use my 30 years of experience to open my own business. I look forward to welcoming new customers to StoneTown Alterations for business advice, help or anything that requires a Seamstress's expertise.
